Do you have an idea for a story that children will love?
The Big Idea Competition is giving you the chance of seeing your idea transformed into a book, TV, movie or theatre production!
The judges are Tess Daly, Neil Blair, Barry Cunningham, Debra Haywood, Philip Ardagh and Sonia Friedman. The closing date for entries is 2nd September 2014.
All you have to do is come up with an original story for children and tell the judges in 500 words (they ask you don’t exceed 750 words,) about your story using the following questions:
. Who’s in it?
. What happens?
. Who’s it for?
. When and where?

The prizes for winning include one winner receiving £1000 in cash and the promise that their idea will become the inspiration for a complete story written by a successful children’s author, and be published as a book worldwide.
(The winner will be named alongside the author and offered an agreed royalty on every book sold. Plus, their story will be presented for TV, film, theatre and more.)
5 Runners-up will also win a £1000 cash prize and the chance of seeing their idea turned into a book, TV, film or more.
