I am stationery crazy. I can spend hours in a stationary shop browsing the shelves of notebooks and journals. My love for all things notebooks and pens is bordering on obsession. My bank balance never likes me after one of these visits. One thing I have always tried to maintain is a journal and there are some beautiful journals available.
We’ve had a look around the internet. Here are five of our favourite journals.
The Q&A A Day Journal is a five-year diary. With a section for each year, it’s easy to keep a small record of your thoughts and then look back at them as each year passes. Each page has a specific question (some of them unusual.) I have this journal and it’s fun to use. I love this. It’s available from Potter Style and it’s currently £10.34.
This book isn’t a standard journal but it’s a great addition to your collection if you’re a book addict like me. Available from Paperchase for £10.00, it’s great for recording the books you’ve read, the ones you would like to read along with favourite quotes, characters and ideas. We also really love the bookcase design.
This journal is absolutely beautiful. We are loving the colour. It’s the Laura Ashley Josette Purple A5 journal. It has ruled pages and with the padded cover and tie-ribbon clasp, it has a great ‘Bridget Jones’ feel to it. It’s available from WH Smith for £9.99.
We have fallen in love with this one a little bit. It’s the London Journal, available to buy for £13.50 from Not on The High Street. It has 96 pages (both blank and grided.) It’s inspired by London and it has beautiful illustrated pages. There is also a Paris design available too.
Finally, from In Blue/Etsy, there is this tie journal. I think this is one of my favourites actually. It’s a leather Journal Sketchbook. It’s refillable (which is always a bonus.) What’s great about this journal is that the front is customizable. I like the photo featured but there are other images and colours to choose from and you can pick what writing you’d like on the front (up to ten words.) It’s currently £15.30.
